The Center of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (Indonesia) has downgraded the status to Level II, it was at Level III. You may find the report here, it is not in english and America’s Volcanoes cannot translate it. As soon as an english translation becomes available we will pass it on to you.

July 16, 2007Due to a decrease in seismicity the Center of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation lowered the alert level of Gamkonora.
We downgraded the alert level of Gamkonora to level 3, because of seismic activity was going down drastically,
from the center’s website which can be found here.
America’s Volcanoes will provide any new information once we get it.
